Again, the BioValley Science Day offers you the opportunity to win one of the attractive poster prizes for an outstanding poster in any field of life sciences. If you present your newest results in a competitive way you may be one of the lucky winners. The BioValley Science Day will take place on Tuesday, 20 September 2011 at the Congress Center Basel. This year, the symposium is organized together with the Swiss TPH. The focus of the scientific programme is on «Infectious Diseases of Global Impact» with national and international speakers. The call for posters is not thematically limited; all research areas of life science are acceptable for inclusion.

We kindly ask you to make use of the abstract template and read the poster instructions carefully.

Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters during the BioValley Science Day Poster Exhibition taking place on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in the Foyer of the Congress Center Basel.
The poster session will take place from 12.35h until 13.45h. Authors or co-authors must be present at their poster during the poster session. Please make sure that you have registered as delegate before the event (at no cost).

All posters will be eligible for the BioValley Poster Award 2011. The selection will take into account the following criteria:
- scientific relevance,
- presentation of content and
- overall impression of the poster.

The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in the late afternoon. Authors or co-authors are requested to be present at the ceremony.
An award can only be given to an author or co-author present at the ceremony.
